In today’s article I decided to put steps seven and eight together because they relate to one another so closely.

Steps seven and eight in creating massive success in your business, are create a blog and a Squidoo/Hub page.

Blogs and Social Media pages are so valuable to your success. I can´t stress that enough.

Through these media you are creating more fresh content that the search engines lust after. And in the case of blog, 250 to 350 words is more than enough. Many blogs rank high in the search engines without being anything more than basically a conversation. Information about what people are doing. You, of course, would put a spin on it and talk about what you are doing in your business.

The real beauty of creating these pages is that you can use all the other media you have already created and embed them directly into them. In the case of your blog you can even have links directed to your site without any conflict of interest.

Now, I do not recommend that you overwhelm your readers with advertisements for your business. Your readers are there for information. If your blog starts looking more like a sales page you will only drive people away. So provide more than a sales pitch. Provide solutions to their problems.

These are very popular sites because they work! If you are trying to drive traffic to your sites, then I urge you not to wait on these steps.

Do a search online and find out how to create a free blog. You will want get a hosting account and many hosting companies offer programs that will literally set up your blog with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Setup accounts with Squidoo and Hubpages. Follow their instructions and viola, you now have three more forms of media to get your information out there to the masses. All of which can be linked back to your site.

Not only that, but by adding your video onto these sites, your page rank and relevancy go up exponentially.

Back links are obviously an advantage in using these forms of media placement. As you create your post, lenses, and pages. Be sure to ping them accordingly. This is nothing more than letting the different search engines know that you have provided fresh new content.

There is one other thing I will touch on in relation to these types of media.

You will soon be establishing your presence online. You will be offering insight as to who you are and forming relationships with potential prospects.

I almost forgot. Do yourself a favor and put an optin box on your blog to gather information. You will want to get the name and email address at a bare minimum.

This way, you will always be able to contact your prospects when you have some new information or product you would like to pass on to your readers. If they are already fans of your post/lenses, you can be sure that they will eagerly open up your emails when you contact them.

Well that´s it. There is only one more step to massive success in your business.

How To Get Traffic With Article Marketing!

Why should you use article marketing?

IT´S FREE

Doesn´t require a lot of time.

Builds content for the search engines.

Generates free traffic to your site.

And did I say IT`S FREE!

Now some of you don´t like to write and that´s okay.  You can hire writers at http://www.getafreelancer.com.  Cost a little money, but hey you are free to work other parts of your business.

So first thing you need to do is register with http://www.ezinearticles.com  And submit your articles to them first.  They are the number one article directory and they have the best page rank of all the directories out there.

Once your article is approved you can always go back and submit that article to other article directories and create a backlink.

Now there are tons of other directories out there and I won´t waste your time here.  If you are interested in others I will have some posted in my resource box on my page.

Now you must write at least a 250 word article.  Up to 400 words is optimal.  Keep it short and to the point but with all the relevant information necessary to keep your readers interested.

Last but not least, fill out your resource box provided at the end of your article.  In here you should just write something like” for more tips, click here”.  And follow that with your blog url.

Hopefully everybody has already done their keyword research and set up their blog as discussed in parts 1 & 2.

Now lets look at writing post for your blog.

There are five major components to writing post for your blog.

1.) Research

2.) Title

3.) First Paragraph

4.) The Body

5.) The Last Paragraph

That´s it.  Once you master that, you´ll be cooking with gas!:)

1.) Research – Do a search on Google for your related subject.  Find the sites that

     have the pertinent information you need and take notes so that you can form

     your own article from the various sources you have gathered.

2.) Title – Remember to have a keyword in your title. 

     Keep it simple like: “How to…” or “5 secrets to…”

3.) First Paragraph – Tell your audience what to expect in the article. 

     Address the problem you intend to solve for them.

4.) The Body – Keep it organized.  If you have 5 steps to something then list it as

      step 1, step 2… and so forth.

     Try to keep each paragraph to a maximum of 3 sentences.

5.) Last Paragraph – Do a short summary and conclusion to what you have just  

      written.  Remember to state the most important tip in your conclusion.

That is all there is to writing a good blog post or for that matter a good article.

Blog Set Up!

First, find an available domain name.  Go to GoDaddy.  On the home page you can plug in whatever name you like and GoDaddy will tell you if it is available in a matter of seconds. 

Next, select a webhost.

According to John Yeo, Professional Wedding Blogger(http://bloggerspaycheck.com/), and the man from which I reseached this blog post, you can do a Google search for GoDaddy coupons and get a discount on hosting.

I personally, like HostGator for hosting.  And there are others such as bluehost.com and directhorizon.com

Once you´ve chosen your host you can access the control panel(cpanel) in “yourdomain.com/cpanel”.

Now scroll down and find the fantastico button to install Wordpress to your site.  This is the perfect site for blogging!

Next login to the dashboard of your blog by going to “yourdomain.com/wp-admin”.

You can choose a theme from the ones available by Wordpress or do a search on Google for “Wordpress themes”.  Upload and unzip the files in the cpanel.

Now your blog is set up and ready for posting!

Each step is critically important so I want to break this blog down into 5 separate blogs each one concentrating on a specific step!

So let´s start with Keyword Research

First, look for a profitable niche.   It is best to choose something that you are interested in.

If you are not sure what niche you might be interested in a couple good resources are: http://www.google.com/trends

        http://www.amazon.com

Be sure that  when searching for keywords you:

 1.) Look for what is known as long tail keywords.  That would be anything with more than 2 words.

2.) Use adwords tools to determine words that have had more than300 searches per month.   http://www.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

3.) Do a Google search using quotation marks to how many competing sites there are out there.

Example: “keyword”

Once you have found your long tail keyword use it in your domain name.  This is a great way to get the search engines to notice you because not only is your keyword on your page but it is in your name.  That show a point of relevancy to your keyword.

A good number to look for in your search would be anything less than 20,000.
